වර්තමාන ඩිජිටල් මාධ්ය අවකාශය තුළ ප්රේක්ෂක ආකර්ෂණය දිනා ගැනීම පමණක් (Clickbait) අරමුණු කරගනිමින්, සත්ය විකෘති කරමින් සහ කිසිදු වගකීමකින් තොරව මාතෘකා නිර්මාණය කිරීම සුලභ කරුණක් බවට පත්ව තිබේ.
අද දිනදී යූ ටියුබ් (YouTube) කාරයෙක් තම වීඩියෝවක ශීර්ෂ පාඨය සහ ඊට යොදා තිබූ උද්ධෘතය මීට කදිම උදාහරණයකි. එයින්ම ක්ලික් හැර වෙනත් උන් දන්නා දෙයක් වේදැයි උන්ම නොදන්නා බවද පසක් වේ
යොදා තිබූ උද්ධෘතයේ අරමුණ සහ සත්ය තත්ත්වය නම් මෙසේය —
ටිල්වින් සිල්වා, පුබුදු ජාගොඩ, නිහාල් අබේසිංහ සහ කුමාර් ගුණරත්නම් වැනි විවිධ දේශපාලන දෘෂ්ටීන් නියෝජනය කරන ප්රමුඛ චරිත එකම ශීර්ෂයක් යටතේ ගෙන එමින්
ටිල්වින් සිල්වා පුබුදු ජාගොඩ නිහාල් අබේසිංහ කුමාර් ගුණරත්නම් JVP පෙරටුගාමී එකමුතුවක්වක් අද ?
යනුවෙන් ප්රශ්නාර්ථයක් යොදා පළ කර ඇති වීඩියෝව සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම නොමඟ යවන සුළු එකකි. කෙටියෙන්ම එය බල්ලෝ මරා හෝ සල්ලි වලට එහා ගිය අම්මා විකුණා හෝ උගේ මඩිය පුරවා ගැනීමකි .
මෙම අවස්ථාව කිසිදු දේශපාලන එකමුතුවක් හෝ සන්ධානගත වීමක් පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡාවක් නොව, “විමුක්ති ගී” නම් සංස්කෘතික සංදර්ශනයක් වෙනුවෙන් එකතු වූ අවස්ථාවක් විය .
කලාත්මක සහ සංස්කෘතික කටයුත්තක් සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම වෙනස් දේශපාලන අර්ථකථනයකට ලක් කරමින්, එහි අවසානයට ප්රශ්නාර්ථයක් ( ? ) යෙදීමම මෙම මාධ්යවේදීන්ගේ කුහක සහ අවස්ථාවාදී අරමුණ මනාව පැහැදිලි කරයි.
ප්රශ්නාර්ථයක් යෙදීමෙන් ඔවුහු නීතිමය හෝ සදාචාරාත්මක වගකීමෙන් බේරීමට උත්සාහ කළද, ඉන් සමාජය තුළ වැරදි මතයක් මවා මෙදා මේ අපතයින් හදුනා ගන්නා ජනයා නැවතත් මේ මුලාවෙන් ඒක දිනකට හෝ මොවුන් වෙත කැධවා ගැනීමට උත්සාහ කරති
අරගලයේ දී මල්ල පුරාව ගත් මොවුහු එදාද සිදු කලේ මේ වැනිම වූ තම බොක්ක පවා විකුණා කන න්යායේම භාවිතාවකි .
එදාද ද මෙම ඊනියා මාධ්යවේදීන් හැසිරුණු ආකාරය සහ ජනතාවගේ පාරිශුද්ධ අරගලය තම පෞද්ගලික ලාභය පිණිස පාවා දුන් ආකාරය අමතක කළ නොහැකිය. එදා අරගල භූමියේදී ජනතාවගේ ද්රෝහීන් බවට පත් වූ මොවුන්, අද තම නාලිකාවල දර්ශන වාර (Views) වැඩි කරගැනීම සඳහා ඕනෑම පහත් මට්ටමකට වැටීමට සූදානම්ය.
දේශපාලනික ලෙසින් ද වෙනත් අවශ්යතා අනුවද ඕනෑම පක්ෂයකට ඕනෑම පක්ෂයක් හා එක්වීමට කිසිදු තහංචියක් නැත . දේශපාලනයේදී සදාකාලික හතුරන් හෝ මිතුරන් නැතැයි කීවේම ඒ නිසාමය
නමුදු මිනිසුන්ගේ බුද්ධිය අවතක්සේරු කරමින්, සමාජය නොමඟ යවන මෙවැනි ක්රියා පන්සලක් ඉදිරියේ හිඟාකෑමටත් වඩා නීච සහ ලජ්ජා සහගත ක්රියාවකි.
සත්ය තොරතුරු වාර්තා කිරීම පසෙකලා, සමාජයේ මත ගැටුම් ඇති කරමින් සහ පුද්ගලයන්ගේ නම් වැරදි සන්දර්භයන්හි අර්ථ දක්වමින් මුදල් ඉපැයීම මාධ්ය වෘත්තියට කරන ලද විශාලම අපහාසයකි.
එනිසාම මෙවැනි බඩගැත්තර හැත්තට මෙවන්ව ප්රශ්ණාර්තයකට මුවා වී කල හැකි දේ මෙතරම් අලජ්ජ නොවනා බව මේ සිදුවීම දකින්නෝ හා මෙම පක්ෂ කියා දිය යුතුය . නැතහොත් හොට අනිද්දා මේ වැනි අලජ්ජයෝ කුමන විනාශයක් කරාවිදැයි දන්නේ උන්ම මිස වෙනත් කිසිවකුත් නොවනු ඇත
අවසාන වශයෙන්මෙවැනි ඊනියා මාධ්ය අපතයන් සමාජය හමුවේ නිරාවරණය කිරීම බුද්ධිමත් පුරවැසියන්ගේ වගකීමකි. කලාත්මක හෝ වෙනත් කිසිදු සම්බන්ධයක් නැති උත්සව, සංස්කෘතික වැඩසටහන් තම පටු වාණිජ අරමුණු වෙනුවෙන් යොදා ගන්නා මෙවැනි ක්ලික් මාධ්යකරුවන්ගේ සැබෑ මුහුණුවර ජනතාව විසින් හඳුනාගත යුතුය. සත්ය තොරතුරු වසන් කරමින් අසත්ය මවාපෑමෙන් ජීවත් වන මෙවැන්නන්ට එරෙහිව සමාජය දැඩි ලෙස නැගී සිටිය යුතුව ඇත.
Shameless clickbait media wallowing in the cesspool: Do they drag “Vimukthi Gee” into disrepute as well?
In the current digital media space, creating titles by distorting the truth and without any responsibility, aiming solely to gain viewer attraction (clickbait), has become a common occurrence. A title and its quote posted on a YouTube channel today provide a prime example of this. It proves once again that these people know nothing other than clicks.
The purpose and the actual situation of the quote used are as follows:
Bringing together prominent figures representing various political ideologies such as Tilvin Silva, Pubudu Jagoda, Nihal Abeysinghe, and Kumar Gunaratnam under the same headline—“Tilvin Silva Pubudhu Jagoda Nihal Abeysinghe Kumar Gunaratnam JVP Frontline Alliance Today?”—and publishing a video with a question mark is completely misleading. In short, it is nothing more than filling one’s pocket by selling out mothers, going even beyond killing dogs for money.
While this occasion does not appear to be a discussion about any political alliance or coalition, but rather an event gathered for a cultural show named “Vimukthi Gee,” turning a artistic and cultural act into a completely different political interpretation and adding a question mark ($?$) at the end clearly highlights the hypocritical and opportunistic motives of these journalists. By using a question mark, even though they try to escape legal or moral responsibility, they create a false impression in society and attempt to lure people who recognize these outcasts back into their deception even for a single day.
The ones who filled their bags during the struggle did the exact same practice of selling out even their core beliefs back then. The manner in which these so-called journalists behaved during the struggle and how they betrayed the sacred struggle of the people for personal gain cannot be forgotten. Having become traitors to the people at the grounds of the struggle back then, today they are ready to stoop to any low level just to increase the view counts on their channels.
Politically and according to other needs, there are no restrictions for any party to join with any other party; that is precisely why it was said that there are no permanent enemies or friends in politics. However, underestimating people’s intelligence and misleading society with such acts is a deed far more base and shameful than begging in front of a temple. Putting aside reporting truthful facts, generating money by creating social conflicts and misinterpreting people’s names in wrong contexts is the greatest insult to the journalism profession.
Therefore, those who witness this event and these parties must make it clear to this belly-driven mob that what they can do hiding behind such a question mark cannot be this shameless. Otherwise, who else other than themselves would know what kind of destruction these shameless people will cause the day after tomorrow?
Finally, exposing such so-called media outcasts before society is the responsibility of intelligent citizens. The public must recognize the true face of such clickbait journalists who use cultural programs—having no artistic or other political connections—for their own narrow commercial objectives. Society must rise up strongly against those who live by fabricating falsehoods while concealing truthful facts.
