අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරියට දුරදක්න නිරීක්ෂණයක්: සැකකරුවන් තිදෙනෙක් රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරයට

අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය මෙනෙවිය කොළඹ පිහිටි හෝටලයක පැවති උත්සවයකට සහභාගි වූ අවස්ථාවක, ඇයගේ පැමිණීම දුරදක්නයක් ආධාරයෙන් අභිරහස් ලෙස නිරීක්ෂණය කළ බව කියන පුද්ගලයන් තිදෙනෙකු මෙම මස 22 වැනිදා දක්වා රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කිරීමට කොටුව මහේස්ත්‍රාත් පසන් අමරසේන මහතා නියෝග කර තිබේ.

කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය පොලීසිය මගින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කළ මෙම සැකකරුවන් අතරින් දෙදෙනෙකු සහෝදරයන් වේ. ඔවුන් කින්නියා සහ මොල්ලිපෝතාන ප්‍රදේශවල පදිංචිකරුවන් බව පොලිස් වැඩිදුර වාර්තාවේ සඳහන් වේ. කෙසේ වෙතත්, මොවුන් කොළඹ ප්‍රදේශයේ රැකියාවල නිරත වන බව ප්‍රකාශ කළද, දැනට රැඳී සිටින නිශ්චිත ලැගුම්හලක් හෝ ස්ථිර වාසස්ථානයක් පිළිබඳ මෙතෙක් කිසිදු තොරතුරක් අනාවරණය වී නැතැයි පොලීසිය අධිකරණයට දන්වා සිටියේය.

පොලිස් විශේෂ කාර්ය බලකායේ පරීක්ෂණ මගින් අනාවරණය වී ඇත්තේ මෙම සැකකරුවන් කිලෝමීටර එකහමාරක පමණ දුරක් ගෙවා පැමිණ, දුරදක්නයක් භාවිත කරමින් අදාළ නිරීක්ෂණය සිදු කර ඇති බවයි. සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පුළුල් පරීක්ෂණයක් පවත්වා සම්පූර්ණ වාර්තාවක් අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස කොටුව මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය පොලීසියට වැඩිදුරටත් නියෝග කළේය.

Prime Minister’s movements monitored through binoculars: Three suspects remanded

 Three individuals, allegedly observed using binoculars to monitor Prime Dr. Harini Amarasuriya’s arrival at an event held at a Colombo hotel, have been ordered to be remanded until July 22 by Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena.

Presented before the court after being arrested by the Slave Island Police, two of the three suspects are brothers. According to the police progress report, they are residents of Kinniya and Mollipothana. However, the police informed the court that although the suspects claimed to be employed in Colombo, no specific lodging or permanent residence has been identified so far.

Investigations by the Police Special Task Force (STF) revealed that the suspects had travelled a distance of about one and a half kilometers to reach the observation point and carried out the surveillance using binoculars. The Fort Magistrate further ordered the Slave Island Police to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the incident and submit a full report to the court.
