ගිනි ගණන් අයකරනා රසායනාගාර පරීක්ෂණ ගාස්තු නියාමනය කරමින් අතිවිශේෂ ගැසට් පත්‍රයක් නිකුත් කෙරේ ! -

පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ වෛද්‍ය රසායනාගාර පරීක්ෂණ ගාස්තු විධිමත් හා පාලනය කිරීමේ අරමුණින්, 2020 ජූලි 29 දිනැති අංක 2186/17 දරන අතිවිශේෂ ගැසට් පත්‍රය රජය විසින් නිකුත් කරනු ලැබ ඇත.

2003 අංක 09 දරන පාරිභෝගික කටයුතු පිළිබඳ අධිකාරිය පනතේ 20(5) වගන්තිය යටතේ, 67 දරන නියෝගය ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇති මෙම ගැසට් පත්‍රය මඟින් ප්‍රධාන රසායනාගාර පරීක්ෂණ කිහිපයක් සඳහා පෞද්ගලික රසායනාගාර මඟින් අය කළ හැකි උපරිම සිල්ලර මිල ගණන් දැඩිව නියාමනය කරනු ලබයි.

අනුමත උපරිම රසායනාගාර ගාස්තු

මෙම ගැසට් පත්‍රයට අනුව වාර්තාවක් සමඟ අදාළ පරීක්ෂණය සඳහා අය කළ හැකි උපරිම මිල ගණන් පහත පරිදි වේ:

පූර්ණ රුධිර ගණන පරීක්ෂණය (Full Blood Count – FBC): රු. 400.00 (වාර්තාව සමඟ)
ඩෙංගු NS1 ප්‍රතිදේහජනක පරීක්ෂණය (NS1 Antigen Test for Dengue): රු. 1,200.00 (වාර්තාව සමඟ)

වැඩි මිලක් අය කරන ආයතන වෙත එරෙහිව පැමිණිලි කිරීම

ඉහත නියමිත උපරිම මිල ගණන් ඉක්මවා රසායනාගාර පරීක්ෂණ සඳහා මුදල් අය කරන හෝ නීති විරෝධී ලෙස කටයුතු කරන පෞද්ගලික රසායනාගාර හෝ වෛද්‍ය ආයතන වෙතොත්, ඒ පිළිබඳව පාරිභෝගික කටයුතු පිළිබඳ අධිකාරිය (CAA) වෙත පැමිණිලි කළ හැකිය.

Extraordinary Gazette Issued Regulating Medical Laboratory Test Fees !

The government has issued Extraordinary Gazette No. 2186/17 on July 29, 2020, with the objective of standardizing and regulating medical laboratory test fees in the private sector.

Published as Order No. 67 under Section 20(5) of the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 09 of 2003, this gazette strictly regulates the maximum retail prices that private laboratories can charge for key medical laboratory tests.

Approved Maximum Laboratory Fees

According to this gazette, the maximum prices that can be charged for the respective tests (inclusive of the report) are as follows:

Full Blood Count (FBC): Rs. 400.00 (Inclusive of report)
Dengue NS1 Antigen Test: Rs. 1,200.00 (Inclusive of report)

How to Report Institutions Charging Excess Fees

If any private laboratory or medical institution charges fees exceeding the above stipulated maximum prices or acts unlawfully, consumers can lodge a complaint with the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA).
