පාර්ලිමේන්තු කතානායක ජගත් වික්රමසිංහ මහතාට එරෙහිව එල්ල වී ඇති බරපතළ වංචා හා දූෂණ චෝදනා සම්බන්ධයෙන් විධිමත් හා අපක්ෂපාතී පරීක්ෂණයක් පවත්වන ලෙස ඉල්ලමින් පිවිතුරු හෙළ උරුමය පක්ෂය අද (30) අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව වෙත නිල වශයෙන් පැමිණිල්ලක් ගොනු කළේය.
මෙම පැමිණිල්ල ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලැබුවේ එම පක්ෂයේ මහ ලේකම් උපුල් ගමගේ මහතා විසිනි. එහිදී කතානායකවරයාගේ නීතිවිරෝධී හා දූෂිත ක්රියාවන්ට අදාළ ප්රබල ලිඛිත සාක්ෂි 10ක් ද විමර්ශන කටයුතු සඳහා කොමිසම වෙත භාර දීමට පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.
මතු කර ඇති ප්රධාන චෝදනා:
නිල නිවාස අවභාවිතය: හිමිව ඇති නිල නිවසට අමතරව වෙනත් නිවසක් භාවිත කිරීම, එහි පෞද්ගලික කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයක් රඳවා ගැනීම සහ නිල නිවසේ තිබූ රජයේ ගෘහ භාණ්ඩ හා උපකරණ පෞද්ගලික නිවස වෙත රැගෙන යාම.
ඉන්ධන වංචාව: නියමිත ඉන්ධන කෝටාව ඉක්මවා ලබා ගැනීම සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රීවරයකු ලෙස හිමිවන සීමාවට අමතරව අනුමත නොකළ අයුරින් වැඩිපුර ඉන්ධන ලබා ගැනීම.
රජයේ දේපළ අවභාවිතය: රජයේ දේපළ පෞද්ගලික අවශ්යතා සඳහා සූක්ෂම ලෙස යොදා ගැනීම.
මෙතෙක් නිහඬ වීම පිළිබඳ ගැටලු
මීට මාස කිහිපයකට පෙර පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ කාර්ය මණ්ඩල ප්රධානී චමින්ද කුලරත්න මහතා විසින් ද මෙම දූෂණ ක්රියා පිළිබඳව బహిరంగ අනාවරණයක් සිදු කර තිබිණි. එහෙත්, බලධාරීන් ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙතෙක් කිසිදු විධිමත් පරීක්ෂණයක් හෝ නීතිමය ක්රියාමාර්ගයක් ගෙන ඇති බවක් වාර්තා වී නොමැති බව පිවිතුරු හෙළ උරුමය දැඩි ලෙස අවධාරණය කර සිටියි.
“කොමිසමේ ස්වාධීනත්වය පරීක්ෂාවට ලක්වන මොහොතක්” – උපුල් ගමගේ
පැමිණිල්ල ගොනු කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව මාධ්ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් පිවිතුරු හෙළ උරුමයේ මහ ලේකම් උපුල් ගමගේ මහතා මෙසේ පැවසීය:
“අල්ලස් කොමිසමේ අධ්යක්ෂ ජනරාල් රංග දිසානායක මහතා නිරන්තරයෙන්ම තමන් යටතේ ඇති ආයතනය ස්වාධීන එකක් බව පවසනවා. රටේ තෙවන පුරවැසියා වන කතානායකවරයාට එරෙහිව අපි අද ඉදිරිපත් කළ මේ කාරණා සහ සාක්ෂි මත පදනම්ව කොමිසම කටයුතු කරන ආකාරය දෙස සමස්ත රටම බලාගෙන සිටිනවා. මෙය ආණ්ඩුවට එරෙහි ස්වකීය සටනක් නොව, රටේ නීතියේ ආධිපත්යය වෙනුවෙන් සහ දූෂණයට එරෙහිව අප ගත් වගකීම් සහගත පියවරක්.
Speaker Jagath Wickramasinghe Faces Corruption Probe as Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Lodges Bribery Commission Complaint

The Pivithuru Hela Urumaya party lodged an official complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today (30), demanding a formal and impartial investigation into serious allegations of fraud and corruption leveled against Parliament Speaker Jagath Wickramasinghe.
The complaint was filed by the party’s General Secretary, Upul Gamage, who also submitted 10 strong pieces of documentary evidence pertaining to the Speaker’s corrupt activities to the commission to facilitate investigations.
Key Allegations Raised:
Abuse of Official Residences: Utilizing an alternative residence in addition to the designated official quarters, maintaining a personal staff there, and transferring government furniture and equipment from the official residence to the private house.
Fuel Quota Violations: Acquiring fuel exceeding the permitted quotas and obtaining unauthorized extra fuel beyond the standard limits entitled to a Member of Parliament.
Misuse of State Property: Misusing government assets and property for personal needs.
Silence on Prior Revelations
Pivithuru Hela Urumaya strongly emphasized that although these corrupt practices were exposed months ago by the Parliament’s Chief of Staff, Chaminda Kularatne, no formal investigations or legal actions have been reported to date.

Speaking to the media after filing the complaint, party General Secretary Upul Gamage stated:
“The Director General of the Bribery Commission, Ranga Dissanayake, constantly asserts that the institution is independent. The entire country is watching how the commission will act based on the facts and evidence we submitted today against the Speaker, who is the third-highest ranking citizen of the country. This is not a political battle against the government, but a responsible step taken by us against corruption and for the supremacy of the law.”
