ඉහත පුවතින් මොමනස නිලධාරීන් ප්රශ්ණ කිරීම පලවී පැය 24 ක් යන්නටත් පලමුව එය සිදුව ඇති අයුරු පුරෝගාමියා අමතා අදාල අංශයට කැඳවා ගොස් පැහැදිලි කිරීමට මොමනස මන්ත්රී සුදේශ් ඉන්ද්රජිත් කුමාර මහතා පියවර ගනු ලැබීම පිළිබඳව පුරෝගාමියාගේ ස්තූතිය මෙසේ පිරිනමන්නෙමු !
නගරාධිපති නිශාන්ත ප්රදිනාන්දු මහතාගේ උපදෙස් අනුව සතියක් තුල මෙම අලුකුටි පිළිබඳව එම අදාල සියල්ලන් වෙත නැවත ලිපියක් යොමු කර ඇති අතර එම ලිපියේ පිටපතක් ද මෙසේ පුරෝගාමියා වෙත පෙන්වා දෙනු ලැබීය .
නමුදු පුරෝගාමියා වෙත තොරතුරු ලබා දුන් අයට පමණක් මෙසේ එම ලිපිය යොමු කිරීමට නොහැකිවීම පිළිබඳවද එම නිලධාරීන් කණගාටුව ප්රකාශ කලේය .
මේ අනුව පුරෝගාමියා විසින් එම සභා වාර්තාව අනුව ද ගණන් බලා පලකල පුවත අසත්යයක් නොවනා නමුත් අන් සියලු දෙනට එසේ ලිපි යොමු කිරීම සතියක් වැනි කෙටි කාලයක් තුල සිදුකර ඇත්තේය .
මෙසේ පුරෝගාමියා ට මෙම විස්තර ලබාදුන් අය නිසාම හෙලිවන තවත් කරුණක් ඇත්තේය .
එනම් එම පුද්ගලයා හැරෙන්නට අන් කිසිවෙකුත් කොපමණ ගෞරවයෙන් එම මිනි අලු එසේ තැන්පත් කලද ඒවා නැවත ගෙනයන්නැයි කීම නොකර ඇති බවය .
එනිසා එම අයට දුරකතන ඇමතුම් දීමට ඔවුන් උත්සාහ කර ඇතැයි පැවසෙන නමුත් ඔවුන් යොමු කරනා ලද ඊමේල් පණිවිඩ වලට පවා පිලිතුරක් නොලද බව ඔවුන් පවසයි .
කෙසේ වුවද පුරෝගාමියාට අවශ්ය වනුයේ චෝදනා පමණක් කොට අත පිසදා ගැනීමට නොව මොරටුව ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් සිදුවන වැරදි නිවැරදි කිරීම පිණිස පේනවා දීමටම පමණි .
එම අරමුණ ගරු කොට මෙම පුවත පලවී පැය විසිහතරක් ගතවීමට මත්තෙන් එය පැහැදිලි කරමින් එකම වරදක් සේ එකම අයෙකුට පමණක් ලිපියක් යොමු නොවීම පිළිබඳවද විසදුම් සැදීමට එම මොමනස මන්ත්රී සුදේශ් ඉන්ද්රජිත් කුමාර මහතා පියවර ගන්නා බවද පුරෝගාමියාට පැවසූ අතර මෙවන්ව මොරටුවේ වන බොහෝ ප්රශ්ණ පේනවා දීමෙන් ක්ෂණිකව විසඳා ගැනීමට අවස්ථාවක් උදාකරන්නට පියවර ගත් එම මන්ත්රීවරයාටත් මොමනස නගරාධිපති නිශාන්ත ප්රදිනාන්දු මහතාටත් මෙසේ පුරෝගාමියා තම ගෞරවය පලකර සිටින්නේ මෙවැනිව සත්යවාදීව ප්රශ්ණ පෙන්වා දීම හා එය පිලිගෙන එහි සැබෑ තතු හෙලි කරමින් විසඳීම සැබවින්ම මොරටුව ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන්ම වන මහත් අගය කලයුතු ක්රියාවක් වන නිසාය !

Purogamiya extends its sincere gratitude to MMC (Municipal Council / MC Moratuwa) Councillor Sudesh Indrajith Kumara, who took steps to summon Purogamiya to the relevant department and clarify the situation within 24 hours of the news report regarding the questioning of MOMANES officials being published!
According to the instructions of Mayor Nishantha Fernando, a re-issued letter regarding these “alukuti” (attendants) has been sent to all relevant parties within a week, and a copy of that letter was also shown to Purogamiya. However, the officials expressed their regret that the letter could not be sent in this manner to everyone except the person who originally provided the information to Purogamiya.
Accordingly, the news published by Purogamiya—calculated based on the council records—was not false, but such letters had indeed been sent to everyone else within a short period of one week.
Because of the person who provided these details to Purogamiya, another fact has come to light: apart from that individual, no one else—regardless of how respectfully those mortal remains were placed—had ever requested that they be taken back. Therefore, the officials mentioned that they tried to make phone calls to those individuals, but stated that even the email messages sent to them received no response.
However, Purogamiya’s intention is not just to make accusations and wash its hands of the matter, but solely to point out and rectify wrongs happening for the sake of the people of Moratuwa.
Honoring that objective, within less than twenty-four hours of this news being published, MOMANES Councillor Sudesh Indrajith Kumara took steps to clarify the matter and address the issue regarding the omission of sending the letter to only a single individual, as Purogamiya was informed. Purogamiya hereby expresses its utmost respect to both the Councillor, who took steps to create an opportunity to instantly resolve many such issues in Moratuwa by pointing them out, and MOMANES Mayor Nishantha Fernando. This is because such truthful highlighting of problems, acknowledging them, and resolving them by revealing the true facts is genuinely a highly commendable act done strictly for the people of Moratuwa!
